The Baťa building was built in 1932 and exactly 85 years later it underwent extensive reconstruction, which restored its original appearance and dignity worthy of the dominant feature of the city of Zlín. The Zlín department store consists of a shopping arcade, restaurants, cafés, a hotel and a spa.
