TECHNICAL LABORATORIES OPAVA, a.s. is an authorized, accredited and certified laboratory that established a training and education center in Brno. At this branch it provides services in the field of OHS and technical inspection.

Within our branch in Brno we provide technical inspection, which focuses on the assessment of machines, technical equipment, devices and tools in terms of requirements for safe operation according to Government Regulation No. 378/2001 Coll., Which includes:
- preparation of operating instructions and locally operating safety regulations for machinery, including drawing up of drawings and diagrams of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment,
- risk analysis for machinery and pressure equipment,
- EMC measurement,
- measurement of noise parameters.
The technical inspection also provides:
- preparation of documents for the issue of the EC Declaration of Conformity for machinery according to Government Regulation No. 176/2008 Coll. (including the new Government Order No. 320/2017 Coll.),
- ensuring certification for the former USSR (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan) and for the Middle East,
- inspection of equipment (machinery, pressure and gas equipment, nuclear installations),
- carrying out revisions (electrical, gas, pressure, lift).
