Our small family winery K96 Winery is located in the village of Konice in the district of Znojmo and is engaged in the production of adjective varietal wines typical of the Znojmo region.
The clear size of our winery (around 1.5 ha of our own vineyards) and the fact that we process only our own grapes allows us to devote ourselves to vineyards and wines in the cellar with the care that Velká Vína deserves - professionally and with love for details. We have high demands on the quality, which we manage to meet thanks to our own grapes from important vineyards, manual harvesting, reduced quantity of grapes on the bush, as well as low yield per hectare and high sugar content.
We therefore offer wines of the best world wines. Typical varieties of our area also form a substantial part of our range, Riesling, Veltlin Green and Sauvignon Blanc. These varieties are complemented by the Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Tramín červený and Svatovavřinecký varieties, which is used for the production of varietal pure rosé. Seedlings from the original varietal areas (Riesling from the Palatinate, Germany, Veltlin Green from Weinviertel Austria, Sauvignon blanc and Chardonnay from the Loire Valley in France, Tramin from Tyrol, Italy) were used for the newly planted vineyards. Our wines are almost exclusively dry wines, and the grape harvest is subject to the sugar content of the musts to achieve adjective wines.
