The basic organization of the trade union Dopravní podnik Elektricé dráhy o.z. belongs to the largest trade unions in the Transport Company hl. City of Prague, joint-stock company.
We are an organization bringing together employees of public, road and urban transport companies, economy and car repair.
The founder of ZOOS DP - ED is the Trade Union of Transport, Road Management and Car Repair Workers of Bohemia and Moravia (OS DOSIA) with headquarters at Táborická 1000/23, Prague 3, which was founded at an extraordinary convention on February 10, 1990. It is our superior body, with whom we work closely.
Members of ZOOS DP - ED work in various professions, from tram and bus drivers, through blue-collar professions to administrative workers, so we are a professional trade union and we have an individual approach to each member.
ZOOS DP - ED participates in the creation of the Collective Agreement, negotiates for its members, but also for other employees of the Transport Company, not only the level of wages and their growth, increases in wage supplements, but also other benefits beyond the framework of the Labor Code, which are specified in the collective agreement . It provides its members with legal assistance in solving work, or and non-work disputes.
ZOOS DP - ED owns a recreation center - mountain hut "Rustonka" in Velká Úpa in the Krkonoše Mountains, in which it provides its members with discounted stays and organizes a summer children's camp for children.
