Kurdějov is a small wine-growing village with approximately 420 inhabitants, located near the town of Hustopeče in the South Moravian Region.

It lies in a deep valley, which is surrounded by the rolling hills of the beginning Ždánické Hills.

The first written mention of the village dates from 1286.

Currently, Kurdějov provides residents and all visitors with a pleasant environment with the sensitively coordinated architecture of the entire village.

There is a football and volleyball field, a sports hall, a hotel complex, restaurant facilities and also a rectory.

Among the most important monuments of the village is the church dedicated to St. John the Baptist. There is also a chapel of All Saints, a statue of St. Mark or the chapel of the Farewell of Christ the Lord with the Virgin Mary.
