Obec Bystra nad Jizerou


Bystrá nad Jizerou is located in the Liberec region in the Semily district. It is situated at an altitude of 468 m above sea level and its area is 562 ha. The surrounding hills and hillsides offer views of the Krkonoše Mountains, as well as Ještěd, Kozákov and Strážník. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1320. Currently there are 116 permanent residents.
