The village of Veselice is located in the district of Mladá Boleslav in the Central Bohemian Region.
The first written mention of the village dates back to 1397. Veselice currently has 130 permanent residents.
Landmarks of the village include the statue of St. John of Nepomuk in the fields to the south of the village and also the Jewish cemetery.
Nearby is Kopanina Hill, which rises to a height of 374 meters above sea level and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape as well as the Čížovka Nature Park and the Křižánky Protected Area.
A blue-marked hiking trail leads through the village, which leads visitors to nearby Domousnica, where a castle from 1740 stands.
