Elementary school Kolín III., Masarykova 412 provides comprehensive elementary education from the first to the ninth year of elementary school.
The former 7th elementary school was opened in September 1982. Its second pavilion was hastily built and opened in September 1983 to replace the original 3rd elementary school in Školská Street, which structural engineers ordered to be demolished. The school has long been one of the largest in Cologne.
At school, he learns according to the "SEVEN" educational program. The school works according to the principles of health-promoting schools (Healthy Schools). Compulsory English lessons start from the 1st grade, language clubs start from the 1st grade. Another foreign language is taught in the 8th and 9th grade.
Computers are used more and more in teaching. From the 6th grade, one class always worked as sports, with a focus on athletics. Currently, according to the school's educational program, children have the option of choosing the optional subject of athletics or other seminars.
The dance group Srdíčko (majorettes) works at the school.
Children can influence events at school through the Children's Parliament, they publish their own magazine Sportťák and they have a trust box at school.
During art education and in circles, children use a ceramic kiln.
