Vinarska 32, Jiretin pod Jedlovou 407 56
The village of Jiřetín pod Jedlovou is located in the northernmost part of the Czech Republic, in the Šluknov foothills, in the western part of the Lužická hora Protected Landscape Area in the Děčín district. The first written mention of the village comes from 1548, when the owner of the Tolštejn estate Georg ze Schleinitz began the construction of the town on the basis of the discovery of a deposit of silver ore. In 1587, the city was granted by Emperor Rudolf II. full city rights, seal and city emblem. Until 1948, the village was called Svatý Jiřetín and only then was it renamed Jiřetín pod Jedlovou. In the same year, the hitherto independent village of Tolštejn with the settlements of Jedlová and Lesná was connected to Jiřetín. At present, Jiřetín pod Jedlovou has 667 permanent residents.
