The town of Chlumec is located at the foot of the Ore Mountains in the district of Ústí nad Labem, halfway between the regional town of Ústí nad Labem and Teplice. It has six parts, which include Chlumec, Stradov, Žandov, Český Újezd, Střížovice and Hrbovice. Its area is 1288 hectares. Chlumec is known for its rich history and cultural monuments, and therefore is a very popular place for tourists. Currently, 4, 434 people live in our city.
