The village of Smolnice is located in the Louny district in the Ústí nad Labem region. We are a small village with currently living 420 inhabitants. The dominant feature of the village is a church with a Romanesque tower and a rectory, built in the second half of the 17th century. Bartholomew or Lípa over the grassy path. The first written mention of the village comes from 1337. We know from the preserved historical sources that in May 1420, people from Louny, Žatec, Rakovnicko and Slánsko gathered here, in a place still called Táborec, to stand up for the Hussites. ideals.
