The village of Obříství lies in the fertile Elbe lowlands near the road I / 9 from Prague to Mělník with the Na Štěpáně crossroads. The village is about 7 kilometers as the crow flies from the former district town of Mělník and about 14 kilometers from the borders of the capital city of Prague. Historically, it consists of several parts - Obříství, the settlements of Dušníky and Semilkovice, which also includes the historic Lamberk, the former ferry Na Štěpáně and part of the territory Úpor at the confluence of the Vltava and Elbe.
