For more than seventy years, the Secondary Medical School and the Higher Vocational Medical School, České Budějovice, have been providing quality medical education to their students. For those interested in studying at our school, we offer five fields at secondary school and another at high school. We are the only South Bohemian state medical school that prepares medical staff in clinical and technical medical fields. You can find us at Husova tř. 555/3.
Secondary Medical School, Secondary School:
- four-year study, intended for primary school graduates
- ended with a school-leaving examination.
Fields of study:
- Practical nurse
- Laboratory assistant
- Assistant dental technician
- Sports and reconditioning masseur
- Medical Lyceum.
Higher Vocational School of Medicine, VOŠZ:
- intended for graduates with a complete secondary education
- three-year study, completed by graduation
- graduates obtain the title of diploma specialist.
Fields of education:
- Certified general nurse
- Certified nurse
- Certified dental technician.
As part of the Erasmus + program, we organize exchanges of pupils, students and teachers in 8 EU countries and the USA.
