Dolní Žandov is a village and municipality (obec) in Karlovy Vary Region in the Cheb District. It is situated at an altitude of 540 meters above sea level and covers an area of 4132 ha. Lower Žandov also includes parts of Podlesí, Úbočí, Salajna and Horní Žandov. The first written mention of the village dates back to 1197. At present, Dolní Žandov has 1, 220 inhabitants.
