Krajková village is located on the southwestern edge of the Ore Mountains, 12 km from the district town of Sokolov in the Karlovy Vary region. The cadastre of our village is extensive, has an area of 3523, 37 ha, the village includes the settlements of Anenská Ves, Markvarec, Hrádek, Květná, Libnov, Dolina and Bernov, population 906.
The first written mention of our village is from 1350, when Charles IV. granted Krajková and the immediate vicinity a mining right. According to lacemaking, in which the village had a rich tradition, it got its name after the Second World War. The first lace school in the Ore Mountains was built here and the local Brussels lace had an international impact.
