The town of Nejdek is located in the west of the Czech Republic, in the Karlovy Vary region (about 15 km from Karlovy Vary), in one of the most beautiful corners of the Ore Mountains, in the valley of the Rolavy River, at an altitude of 550 - 650 meters. It is protected from the west, north and east by the forested ridges of the Ore Mountains.
