The village of Říčky is located at the eastern foot of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, 20 km west of Brno. At present, they have approx. 415 inhabitants.
The first written mention of the village dates from 1358. From the 1950s until 1990, Říčky was part of Domašov.
At present, the village of Říčky is closely connected with the neighboring Domašov, the inhabitants of both villages use the infrastructure together (kindergarten, school, SDH, Zemědělská společnost Devět křížů a.s.
