The village of Domanín is located in the district of Hodonín in the South Moravian region.

For the first time, Domanín is mentioned in writing in a document of Přemysl Otakar II. of November 27, 1228, in which he exempted the Velehrad monastery from taxes and fees. It contains a list of monastery estates, which included Domanín.

Currently, Domanín has 1, 007 permanent residents.

The civic amenities of the village include a municipal office, a library, a primary and kindergarten school, a grocery store, a playground and a restaurant.

In addition, the Domanín Mother's Center, the Domanín Women's Association, the scout troop, Orel, hunters, gardeners, beekeepers and other social organizations operate here.

You will also find interesting cultural monuments here, which include an early Baroque farm building called Dvůr, the church of St. Wenceslas, crosses in different parts of the village and, of course, various historical statues.
