The village of Morašice
The first written mention of Morašice is from 1145, when a prominent citizen at the time, a certain Oneš, handed over part of the village of Morašice to the Premonstratensian monks who came to Litomyšl.
In Morašice there is a church, which was built in 1321. However, the church was not as big as the current one, it has two bells - a large one from 1542 (12 q) and a smaller one from 1538 (5, 6 q).
In Morašice it is possible to use a kindergarten, a primary school from 1st to 9th grade, a cultural house.
Furthermore, their services are provided by a pediatrician, general practitioner and dentist, a general store, a post office and two restaurants with basic refreshments.
The marked cycling route "Smetana and Martinů Region" also passes through the village.
The surroundings invite you to walk around the Fiala stream to the south to a lake steeped in legends. The nearby Růžový palouček is also well-known, which brings a feeling of peace and relaxation to the whole landscape.
