The strength of BVCE, which is headquartered in Prague, is the ability to combine a Western approach to transaction identification, analysis and transaction execution with local knowledge of the specifics of the countries in which BVCE operates.
BVCE was founded in the spring of 2002 by key members of the successful joint venture of Lazard Freres & Co. and Latona Associates of Europe.
Since 1999, this joint venture has been entrusted with the management of the state restructuring program in the Czech Republic for significant enterprises in financial and/or operational distress.
