Rokle village is located in the Ústí nad Labem region in the Chomutov district. The gorge covers an area of 1358 ha and is situated at an altitude of 340 m above sea level. Geomorphologically, the village is part of the Ore Mountains system and lies in the valley of the Úhošťanský brook. The village includes the local parts of Hradec u Kadaně, Želina, Nová Víska u Rokle and Krásný Dvoreček. At present, the village has 268 permanent residents.
