The village of Dlouhá Ves is located in the district of Klatovy in the Pilsen Region on the banks of the gold-bearing river Otava. The origin of the village itself is dated 1290. Dlouhá Ves is not just history or tourism. In the village there is an active physical education unit with football not only for adults but also for pupils. Firefighters and hunters are also very active associations. The village also includes parts of Annín,
Bohdašice, Janovice, Nové Městečko, Platoř and Rajsko.
