The village of Zádolí is located in the district of Ústí nad Orlicí in the Pardubice Region, about 6 km from the town of Vysoké Mýto. The village consists of two parts Zádolí and Stříhanov. The first written mention of the village dates from 1559. In 1850, Zádolí became an independent municipality within the district of Vysoké Mýto. In 1860 it merged with the adjoining Stříhanov. In 1958, three houses were separated from Zádolí and became part of the village of Pustina. The independent village of Zádolí - Stříhanov has been a part of the Ústí nad Orlicí district since 1960.

Among the attractions of our village is a protected memorial tree linden heart. In the vicinity of Zádolí it is worth visiting, for example, Knířov, a village with a pilgrimage church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary from 1345 or Nové Hrady, where you will find a renovated Rococo castle or the Church of St. James.
