The village of Mířkov is located in the Plzeň Region in the Domažlice District. Mířkov has an area of 17.61 km2 and lies at an altitude of 463 m above sea level. The protected landscape area of Sedmihoří adjoins the village. The first written mention of the village comes from 1158.
At present, Mířkov has 293 permanent residents. The village includes the village of Křakov and the settlement of Nový Dvůr.
