The town of Lysá nad Labem is located in the fertile Polabská lowland, on the right bank of the Elbe. It includes parts of Litol, Byšičky and Dvorce.
The oldest written mention of Lysá n. Labem is recorded in Kosm's Chronicle and is related to the time of Prince Oldřich's death in 1034.
About 9, 500 inhabitants currently live in the city.
Lysá nad Labem is one of the most important Czech cities in terms of historical and urban development.
A prominent feature of Lysá is the church of St. John the Baptist from the 18th century. From the wide range of cultural and historical monuments, it is impossible not to draw attention to the baroque town hall, which was completed in 1747. The baroque castle with the chapel of St. The Three Kings from 1729 is used as a retirement home, but the castle park with its monuments is made available to the public.
Marked hiking and cycling routes pass through the city.
The city provides its visitors with accommodation, catering, comprehensive medical care and, last but not least, a wide business network.
