The village of Bobrůvka is located in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou in the Vysočina Region. Currently, approx. 243 inhabitants.

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1262. The church of St. Bartholomew with a prismatic tower with slit windows on the first floor with a wooden belfry also dates from the second half of the 12th century. The main altar of the church was made in the 17th century.

There is a volunteer fire department in the village and there is a municipal library. The children attend school in Bobrová (5 km), where there is also the nearest medical facility for citizens.

The village of Bobrůvka has primarily an agricultural character and is sought after by vacationers mainly from Brno for its location, favorable climatic conditions (520 m.a.s.l.) and natural beauty. Vacationers are attracted here by extensive "mushroom" forests, berry picking, ponds and simple walks around the area.
