The village of Kbel is included in the Přešticko microregion, which is located in the Plzeň-jih district in the Plzeň Region. The village of Kbel consists of 5 villages: Kbel, Malinec, Mečkov, Nová Ves and Babice. The SDH Kbel and Malinec associations, the "Káně" hunting association and the Kbel Ochotnický association operate here. Currently, around 285 inhabitants live in the village. The first written mention of our village comes from 1355.
