Heřmánky is a picturesque village located in the beautiful surroundings of the Oder Hills, on the banks of the Odra River. The first written mention dates back to 1362. The village belonged to the Oder Manor since its inception.

The most important monuments of the village include the late Baroque Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary with folk decorations from 1783. Among the natural attractions are the Jubileeum Quelle spring and the important tree - Tomčík's yew tree.

The village of Heřmánky is a paradise for tourists and cyclists. Several cycle routes No. 503 and No. 552 lead through the village. Pedestrians have the option of walking past the Swedish Rock and the slate quarry to the pilgrimage site of the Virgin Mary in the Rock in nearby Klokočůvk.
