Home Jitka o.p.s. based in Vsetín is a weekly inpatient facility for people with mental and combined disabilities. At the same time, we also provide a respite service, when a carer needs someone to take care of a family member with a disability if they cannot. We provide the service for a few days, weeks, or even months. Our clients are women and men between the ages of 18 and 78.
The services provided by us ensure medical nursing care, including follow-up to the mediation of professional examinations. We try to treat our clients to various therapies that help them calm down and develop and contribute to their better health and mental state, such as: hippotherapy, canistherapy, art therapy, work in a ceramic workshop, trips and stays.

Our social services are provided in the former family villa in Vsetín as part of the normal development of the housing estate
Our clients belong to a group that finds it difficult to find a future home. As a result of so-called dual diagnoses, they can no longer be in their own families. Their parents are alone at an age when they need support and help or coexistence is otherwise impossible. Families have our great support and admiration that they still manage to provide weekend care for their loved ones.
Currently, our building does not meet the conditions for year-round housing for eleven people. That is why it is our big dream and also our intention to build a new building that would provide them with this new home.
We also want to maintain the residential relief service. Above all, this option is irreplaceable for caregivers, so that their disabled family members can stay in the family environment for as long as possible.
The threat of burnout is not just a theoretical concept.
