Municipal office.
Kaňovice was founded in 1613 under Jan Bruntálský from Vrbno. The establishment of the village was entrusted to the official Káň, after whom the village was named. According to the surveyor, in 1636 Kaňovice had a mill, a pond and 22 homesteads.
Attractions:
- chapel of St. Hedviks from 1868
- school from 1874, rebuilt to its current form in 1948.
