The village Nošovice is located 7 km east of the district town of Frýdek-Místek, it is the gateway to the romantic valley of the Morávka River, which originates at the very border with Slovakia. The first written mention of Nošovice is from 1573.
Originally the village was named Potměnošovice. Legend has it that they say that people secretly wore fabrics on the washboard at night - that is, in the dark - so that they did not have to pay a fee to the nobility. The name was actually given to the village by a locator named Potměnoš.
Perhaps during the Thirty Years' War, a battle was fought here on the border between Dobrá and Nosovice, it is reminded of the name Piket - a military camp and a chapel stands on the site of the buried fallen. At the beginning of the 19th century, a glass workshop was in operation, producing military field bottles.
The construction of the now famous RADEGAST brewery was started in 1960, the first batch was brewed on 3.12.1970. Today, RADEGAST is a part of Plzeňský Prazdroj.
Since 2002, tourists have been able to use the Beskydy Radegast Cyklo Track with 40 restaurants and pubs.
Connection to the village is by bus.
