The state-owned company DIAMO, the ODRA branch, manages and takes care of all former main mining works from the Ostrava, Karviná and southern parts of the district. Organizationally, it consists of the Mine and Surface centers. We are located in Ostrava - Vítkovice on Sirotčí Street.
Resort Area:
- administration of the areas of former mines in the Ostrava and Petřvald sub-basins:
- former Paskov Mine
- former Barbora Mine
- management of the landfill site - OSTRAMO lagoon.
Mine Resort:
- administration of the mining part of the Žofie and Jeremenko water well areas.
We provide the following activities:
- care, administration of major mining works
- remediation, reclamation of areas affected by mining
- demolition of unnecessary objects in administration
- pumping of mine water in the locality of Jeremenko and Žofie
- providing engineering, control activities
- monitoring of gas output on selected pits and buildings
- handling of social and health claims related to mining activities in the past
- renting, transfers of unused property.
