History of the company

History of TOS ZNOJMO company has been written since 1970 when engineering manufacture was initiated within the former TOS KURIM national enterprise. The company gained its current trade name in 1978 when a branch plant was established in Znojmo. The main production activity was focused on variators, with new experience and technology, also production of driving equipment expanded to the current production schedule which main focus is series production of gearboxes.

Workers of TOS ZNOJMO are ready to comply with customers' wishes and requirements and they offer worm, spur, bevel and special gearboxes designed for transfer of big torsional moments, but also supplementary production of driving equipment and their parts, for example shafts, toothed wheels, castings or accessories for machine tools.

In the course of time, company's business activities have expanded beyond the borders of the Czech Republic not only in the EU countries but also in East Asia and South America.

Energy efficient driving systems from TOS ZNOJMO company are manufactured in a modern environmentally friendly plant. Energo gearboxes are excellent not only in energy saving that helps to reduce operating costs, but also in long lifetime and very quiet operation.
