One of the most common door systems are definitely automatic sliding doors. They are used in all places where there is high frequency of people passing through. If regular door would be installed there, it would most probably remain open all the time, exactly because of this high frequency of people. That is mostly why automatic doors provide heat saving, for they open only for the time necessary, without any physical effort of the passers.
Moreover, SPEDOS door and gate systems are produced with an emphasis on heat saving, and that is why they are equipped with other structural components that will raise the savings. Such are, for instance, brush seals or a possibility of using one-way radars, that will not catch a leaving person. These have even better insulating properties, for the interior space is almost perfectly separated from the exterior. Furthermore, revolving doors prevent the emergence of chimney effect in high rise buildings and thus avoid smog and noise intrusion from the street. Revolving doors could also be supplied with a heat screen.

With industrial door/gate systems the request for heat insulation is even bigger. For these doors/gates are large in size and there is quite a lot of them, it is necessary to design door systems so that the heat loss is the lowest possible.
