Glass fibers and glass-fiber products

We specialize in glass fibers. Actually, we are one of the few producers of glass fiber nonwoven fabrics in Europe. We produce four product categories for the needs of our customers.

KOBEMAT BSN is a high-density product made of 100% cotton-quilted glass fiber used as thermal and acoustic insulation. Another category is KOBEMAT EGL (up to 650°C), where the glass fiber is entangled by needle punching and reinforced by intertwining. KOBEMAT AGL products (up to 800°C), which are similar to KOBEMAT EGL, are used for example in automobiles, power appliances, turbines, power plants, piping and elsewhere. The last category is KOBEFIBER, cut, loose or carded fibers from pure glass fiber without any additives.

Natural fibers: cotton, flax and hemp

We process not only glass but also natural fibers, such as cotton, wool, flax or even hemp. Now hemp fibers are used to produce KOBE ECO HEMP FLEX. The main benefits are health safety, superior accumulation capacity, easy handling and assembly and high diffusion openness. Such natural fibers are used to insulate walls, wooden beam ceilings and so on.

Our wide range of services is complemented by laminating

We provide fabric lamination to meet the requirements and needs of our customers. Our products may be coated with aluminum foil, reinforced aluminum foil with glass fiber grille, glass fiber fabric or other textile on one or both sides of the mat.
