The village of Píšť lies in the valley of the hilly landscape of the Hlučín Uplands. Its cadastre touches the state border with Poland in the north, and is protected by forests in the south. The area is dominated by agricultural land. In the village there are places for crossing the state border Píšť-Owsiszcze and Píšť-Boleslaw.

Beyond history and knowledge
Church of St. Lawrence from 1743, today a place of pilgrimage. In it baroque statues of St. Peter and Paul and a set of five paintings from 1784 by the Opava painter F. Licht. An image of the Mother of God, about 300 years old, was donated to the church as a Thanksgiving for saving lives.
In the village we find a unique cultural monument, the octagonal chapel of St. Jan Nepomucký from the end of the 19th century, the sandstone statue of the saint dates from the 18th century.
In 2002, the village became the new Marian pilgrimage site in the Czech Republic.
In 2003, the outdoor Stations of the Cross of ceramic reliefs with a rest and park part was completed in the area of the pilgrimage site.

Attractions
The village boasts a sundial park clock, which at the time of its creation is the largest sundial of this design in Europe. They show astronomical time. Their dominant feature is one of the elements of the symbols of the village Píšť - lilies, the coat of arms of the lords of Zvole, the owners of the village in the 16th century.

Nature
Northwest of the village of Píšť, there is a forest complex in the Hlučín Uplands - the Hranečník National Natural Monument. Cadastrally it falls under the village of Píšť, but its area occupies a much larger area. Gray herons nest in a large colony of mostly oak-pine forest.
In front of the municipal office is a stray boulder.

Recreation, sport:
Sports and recreational area, swimming pool, mini golf and 100-meter shooting range.
The swimming pool in Písek has a tradition since the 1960s, when it was built with the efforts of local citizens. From 1998 to the present, the area of the swimming pool and minigolf has undergone radical modifications to the pools and the surrounding area. The purity of the water in the pools was solved by a new modern purifier, which ensures constant water quality, as evidenced by the large number of visitors to vacationers from a wide area. Visitors are also attracted by the pleasant clean environment in a flood of flowers with two swimming pools and a lush lawn; you can relax on hot days in the shade of the terrace with snacks until dark. The adjacent illuminated minigolf is used by holidaymakers, swimmers and non-swimmers of all generations. In the vicinity of the swimming pool is the field of the football club SLAVIA Píšť and a field with an artificial surface, enabling all ball sports. The well-known 100-meter shooting range of the founder B. Jung is used in the village of Píšť.

In the main altar in the church of St. There is a painting of the Mother of God on St. Lawrence, about 300 years old.
With the participation of parishioners, priest P. M. Sienkowski and the mayor of the village Mgr. František Jaroš, the crowns for the Mother of God and Santa Claus were consecrated by St. Father John Paul II. in Rome.
In 2003, the outdoor Stations of the Cross with a rest and park area was completed in the area of the pilgrimage site. The individual stops of the Stations of the Cross of ceramic reliefs were created by PaedDr. Kateřina Pavlicová.
This place of pilgrimage is gaining supra-regional importance, as the village has created the conditions for lively tourism, cultural and business development of cross-border relations with Poland.
Passion in Píšť
They are located in the northern part of the village, towards Hůrky. The memorial is a remembrance of farmers and farmers who annually begged for God's protection in their work, for the protection of fields and crops from the elements.

Tradition
The tradition of the village of Píšť has become the annual August pilgrimage to St. Vavřinci, the so-called "Píšť Forgiveness", which brings together acquaintances, natives and visitors from a wide area. In the week around August 10, a number of forgiveness events take place in Písek. Night carnivals of the local Slavie Píšť, indulgences in public spaces, large fireworks, carousels and attractions. Festive indulgences are held on Sunday in the church of St. Lawrence with the participation of priests from the Czech Republic and Poland. The end becomes an integral part of the indulgence festivities
