Písařov is a village located by the state road I / 11 between Šumperk and Červená Voda. The village consists of two parts - Písařov itself and the settlement of Bukovice. Forests predominate in the Písař cadastre, arable land in Bukovský. The altitude ranges from 500 m above sea level. at Kocanda up to 700 m above sea level. at the highest house in Zašíva. The highest peak of the cadastre of the village is Čečel at an altitude of 839 m above sea level. The village has 700 inhabitants. In Písařov, the farm no. 104, the oldest monument is a bell on the Church of the Dispatch of the Apostles from 1550. In Bukovica there is a listed wooden bell tower from the end of the 19th century. The route of the cycle path No. 6229 and the tourist route KČT No. 4877 / 592b pass through the village of Písařov. There is a kindergarten and elementary school in the village up to the 5th grade. The most active associations include the local football club Tatran Písařov, the Hunting Association, the fire brigade and the Pašerák sports club.
