Slatiňany Municipal Office
The town of Slatiňany can be found in a picturesque region at the foot of the Iron Mountains, 4 km south of the district town of Chrudim. The first written mention of Slatiňany dates from 1294, when only a wooden Gothic fortress stood here on a rocky promontory above the Chrudimka river. Its owner was probably František za Slatiňan.
