ACER VOLTAGE s.r.o. was founded in 1992 in Hradec Králové, with the original name ACER. It is a purely Czech company that deals with the development and production of surge arresters and limiters for the protection of LV and LV distribution power and distribution networks and protects equipment against atmospheric and switching overvoltages. It also focuses on the production of insulators. ACER VOLTAGE products protect the equipment of its customers from the destructive effects of overvoltage. Since 2006, this company has operated under the name ACER HK s.r.o. and at the end of 2014 she moved to a new place of work, where she remains.
In 2016, the company changed its name to the current name ACER VOLTAGE s.r.o., which better describes its focus and activities.
