Mesto Hrob

U Radnice 234, Hrob 417 04
The town is located at the foot of the Ore Mountains in the district of Teplice. Local parts are Křižanov, Mlýny and Verneřice. In our town you will find several very important historical buildings. Worth mentioning is the Catholic Church of St. Barbara, the Evangelical Church of the Resurrection from the early twentieth century, which is unique in its architecture. The historical treasures of the Tomb are the foundations of a Protestant church, which are currently being converted into a park.
The first written mention of the village dates back to 1282. It is a purchase agreement in which Elizabeth, abbess of the Benedictine monastery in Teplice, sells Verneřice and Tomb to Theodor, abbot of the Cistercian monastery in Osek.
