The village of Jarpice can be found in the Central Bohemian Region about eleven kilometers north of the town of Slaný in the Kladno district. The first written mention of the village dates from 1318. Part of the village is a smaller village Budenice. Jarpice is also the birthplace of a doctor, university teacher and politician Václav Staňek. Currently there live 278 inhabitants.
