Šemnice is located about 10 km from the town of Karlovy Vary, in the Karlovy Vary Region. Šemnice covers an area of 1320 ha and at an altitude of 423 meters above sea level. The village includes seven settlements, Šemnice, Sedlečko, Dubina, Muzikov, U Mostu, Beraní Dvůr and Pulovice. Currently, 636 people live here.
