Member municipality of the KAHAN microregion.
The village is located 20 km as the crow flies east of the center of Brno at the very beginning of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The large cadastre of the village of 1195 ha is mainly covered by forests and is adjacent to Zastávka, Zakřany, Vysoké Popovice, Újezd, Zbraslaví and Litostrov.
Transport connections are ensured by regular buses and trains connected to the integrated transport system of the South Moravian Region, which includes, for example, the Brno trams. For individual travelers, the advantage is the 11 km distant feeder to the D1 highway or the 2 km distant first-class road Brno-Třebíč or the 1 km distant second-class road Rosice-Velká Bíteš.
There are more than 290 descriptive numbers in the village, where approximately 630 permanent residents live. They are replenished in and out of season by the owners of more than 50 cottages and recreational facilities located in the valley of the picturesque Habřina stream.
The village has gas distribution, drinking water, wireless internet, a primary school up to the 5th grade, a kindergarten, a grocery store, a drugstore, and a hairdresser. A school playground with an asphalt oval, a grass football field, a tennis court, a gym, a fire station, a fire tank in the village, a natural pond with an island in the middle are used for sports purposes. For children's games, a semi-trailer was equipped with children's climbing frames, and for gatherings of adults, the municipal pub, the buffet on the playground or the municipal hall on the village square with a capacity of 100 people are used.
Příbram's attractions undoubtedly include the modern chapel of St. Floriana, a cross from the Napoleonic Wars and other crosses around Příbram, monuments from the First and Second World Wars. A pleasant walk is the path through the valley of the Habřina stream, past the ponds, the cottage area, through the Příbram mill to Zastávka.
The municipality places great emphasis on development and the influx of new citizens. Areas with the possibility of building family houses or business establishments in the Příbram industrial zone can be seen in the Zoning plan section.
