Elementary school, Prague 4, Pošepného nám. 2022 is the Faculty School of the Faculty of Education, Charles University. We cooperate with the Faculty of Science of Charles University. We are a school with extended computer science teaching.
Our school wants to be a good school for everyone and wants to keep up with the times. The subject of information and communication technology is included in all grades. English language teaching is also a part of teaching from the 1st grade. In 7th grade, pupils have the option of choosing a second foreign language. We offer teaching French and Spanish, and from the new school year 2019/2020 also teaching German. From the first year, we also offer one class of the Start Together program.
We monitor the level of our education by participating in the national comparative tests Kalibro, Scio and Cermat. Pupils' interests are further developed in the afternoon extracurricular activities of the school group, hobby groups and through other organizations.
The school has a multimedia classroom with interactive technology that helps children master even the most demanding subjects in a fun way. High-quality teaching of physics and chemistry also serves professionally equipped classrooms, where students can try out most of the material. A specially adapted classroom with audiovisual technology will be used for language teaching.
The school has twenty interactive whiteboards. There are not only 4 fully equipped gyms, but also a multi-purpose playground where they can practice various sports such as football, handball, volleyball, basketball or tennis. The course also serves various athletic disciplines (eg running, long jump, high jump, shot put).
The school has a library. Nicely arranged atriums also serve various social events.
