Olbramice Municipal Office.

Olbramice village is located in the foothills of the Vítkov Hills. The borders of the cadastre are formed by the rivers Sezina and Polančice.
Olbramice is located 4 km west of Klimkovice, to which they were connected in 1980. The village again became independent on 1.1.1994.
In Olbramice there used to be a fortress on the Zámecký kopec hill where the current school stands. In 1377, the village of Hýlov and the village belonged to the works of princes Přemek and Václav. In 1420, Prince Přemek sold his part to Jan of Tvorkov, which was later acquired by the brothers Jan and Vaněk of Kojetín. The widow of Vaněk Agnes in 1477 incapacitated her rights in Olbramice to Wenceslas and John brothers, including puppets from Olbramice.
Jan Loutka put Olbramice in 1498 to his son Ondřej Loutka, who in 1520 inculcated Olbramice with the fortress Hynek Bruntálský of Vrbno. He sold Olbramice in 1573 to the Bravant of Chobrany, who created the estate Bravantice. Olbramice belonged to this manor until the end of feudalism. Since 1850 Olbramice was associated with Janovice.
From the administrative point of view, the parts of the political district of Opava in the years 1850-1855, 1868-1896 and the mixed district office in Klimkovice in the period 1855-1868. 1960 belonged to the district of Nový Jičín.
Since 1.1.2007 district Ostrava-City.
In 1820 the first school building was built for both municipalities. In 1750 the construction of the originally Gothic church together with the municipality of Zbyslavice was proceeded. The municipalities agreed that the church would be built between the now memorable linden trees. In 1865, Patroness Marie Countess Blücher of Wahlstatt had the church enlarged and rebuilt in the Baroque style. On the place of the wooden ceiling came vaulting, the building was extended, an annexed tower and a sacristy. Today the church is a protected cultural monument. In 1900 both villages built a rectory.
The village has a library, fire station and municipal office.
Land of JZD, founded in the village in 1951, was incorporated into ZD Slezan Klimkovice. Since 1850 Janovice has been a settlement of Olbramice. As of 31.7.2010 the village has 624 inhabitants.
