The Center for Psychological and Social Counseling of the Central Bohemian Region is a facility providing professional social, marital and family counseling. The services are intended for people in crisis, families with children and the elderly. We provide counseling on an outpatient basis without age restrictions. The goal of social services is to support a person who has found himself in a difficult life situation in the integration or reintegration into society so that he can use normal resources in society in a normal way. The goal is to strengthen a person enough to stop needing social services or to only need them to the extent necessary. By law, services at the Center for Psychological and Social Counseling of the Central Bohemian Region are provided to clients free of charge, employees are obliged to maintain confidentiality about all facts, the client has the right to appear anonymously and no recommendation or presentation of personal documents is required. Main directions of specialization of the counseling workplace established by the Central Bohemian Region from 1 January 2011 • Comprehensive information and counseling service in the region • Individual, couple and family psychologically oriented therapy • Provision of professional social and legal counseling • Help in solving divorce and post-divorce situations • Preparation of applicants for substitute family care (adoptive parents, foster parents, temporary foster parents, secondary applicants) • Care for persons at risk of domestic violence
