Obec Bucina

The village of Bučina is located in the slightly undulating landscape of the Pardubice region in the southwestern part of the Ústí nad Orlicí district between the towns of Vysoký Mýt and Litomyšlí.

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1167. Currently, Bučina has 266 permanent residents.

The village is gas-fired, has its own water supply and sewerage system. There is also a Konzum shop, clay, football and children's playgrounds, an inn, a community hall with a pub and a library.

Also worth mentioning is the Evangelical church, which was built here in 1786 and has been a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 2003.

The volunteer fire department also operates in the village.
