Konecchlumí village is located in the Hradec Kralove region, about 10 kilometers from Jicin. The village consists of parts Konecchlumí and Kamenice, currently over 400 people live here.
The first written mention of our village dates back to 1226. At the turn of the 16th and 17 century, the village of Vilém the elder Konecchlumský of Konecchlumí, one of the 27 leaders of the Estates uprising executed in 1621 in the Old Town Square. In 1907 it was built in our village to commemorate this local mound. It is a monument in the form of a lion on a stone pedestal, which holds the royal crown at its feet.
