Paskov is located in the district of Frýdek-Místek in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The city consists of parts of Paskov and Oprechtice and lies on the junction of Ostrava and Frýdek-Místek.
The first written record dates back to 1267 and currently has about 4000 inhabitants.

The dominant of our town is the protected castle area, which now serves as an exhibition gallery and you can also visit the castle museum. In the chateau park you can find rare tree species such as elm, ginkgo, pine and antique statues.
