Since last year, the Municipal District of Prague 16, together with the Capital City of Prague as a construction investor, have been building a so-called biotope area, a natural swimming pool.
The essence of the biotope lies in the biological method of maintaining clean water, without chemicals, under the influence of aquatic plants and natural ecosystems in filter lagoons.

The swimming pool basically consists of an artificial water tank with a natural appearance, which is cleaned biologically - without chemicals, only with the help of plants and ecosystems in filter lagoons.
The bottom and walls are made of thick foil of a natural light green color. The edge of the biotope is made of cast stone paving, from which you can slowly enter the water, you can hold on to the railing.
Water from the bathing tank is pumped into the biological zones, where it is purified and flows freely back into the bathing area. The result is pure fresh water without the use of any chemicals.

Swimming is suitable not only for families with small children, but also for allergy sufferers who would not mind the chlorine in a classic swimming pool.

You can stop for good steaks, coffee, scoops of ice cream, or beer and lime juice. We offer paddleboard, croquet or speedminton, trampoline for rent.
Where is the swimming pool located?
The entire area has been under construction since last year in close proximity to the elementary school, next to the children's playground and just a few meters from the Berounka river. Opposite the swimming pool are beach courts, netball courts, volleyball courts, and a children's playground. Nearby is the so-called new stadium with an athletic oval and two football fields. Within walking distance is a sports hall (designed for all kinds of indoor sports, with a climbing wall or sauna) or a skate park and a softball field.
The Radotín sports hall is a barrier-free sports facility intended for sports clubs and the public.

Part of the building is a large sports hall of
26 x 44.5 meters, which can be used for all kinds of indoor sports, climbing wall, sauna, dormitory for 21 people, bar and clubhouse with television and internet. The audience capacity of the hall is 198 seats and approx. 100 standing places.
The hall can be divided with nets into thirds, on which basketball or volleyball can be played, and badminton can also be played on one third.
